SFMOMA was originally constructed as the first West Coast museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art. A recent three-year-long expansion project has turned this already must-see art destination into the largest museum of its kind in the entire country.

New additions include the Doris and Donald Fisher Collection as well as a fresh variety of special exhibitions featuring topics like graphic art, contemporary sculpture, modern film, and more.
