San Francisco Zoo & Gardens highlights

African Savanna – an open-landscaped setting featuring giraffes, zebras, kudus, ostrich, Marabou stork, and more all living together.
Australian WalkAbout – this multi-species exhibit features red kangaroos, wallaroos, and more animal species native to Australia.
Bear Country – a naturalistic exhibit where visitors can see grizzly bears retrieve fish and honey or go for a dip in their freshwater pool.
Koret Animal Resource Center – a working educational facility that takes visitors behind the scenes in the world of animal care and zoo keeping with demonstrations and more.

San Francisco Zoo's iconic Storybooks have made a comeback! They're dotted throughout the zoo and are activated by plastic animal keys. With your pass, you can pick up your very own Zoo Key (worth $5) at the entrance, that'll allow you to listen to multilingual recordings of stories and fun facts about the animals.
