ChrissyIt's 100 acres do I definitely recommend the bus tour which is included and the ski lift thing. It was highly shaded throughout most of the zoo which was great, but the animals feel really far away.

Must do! So much to see
KazzakanarySo much to see! Be ready to walk ( or take the bus but you won’t see as much!). Watching the orangutans could last a few hours!

Linasoñaba con conocer el zoológico porque soy fan de la película Madagascar, suena tonto, lo sé, pero me encantó. hicimos tour en bus inicialmente por todo el zoo, recomiendo hacerse al lado derecho porque hay mas animales de ese lado, pero los osos polares si estan del lado izquierdo. ese tour está incluido en el ingreso al igual que el cable aéreo. cómo lleganos antes de la apertura hacieron un show con guacamayos, espectaculares. el parque es enorme! ve cómodo y protegido del sol porque vas a estar mucho tiempo de pie y caminando. vale mil veces la pena ir.
love this zoo!
Came to San Diego primarily to return to the zoo (10 years since last visit). Absolutely love the zoo, and the food was excellent and more reasonable than our Sea World visit the day before (not a place we will return to). The gift shop once again carries quality merchandise with items from various countries, which was sadly missing on our last visit. The S.D. Zoo is a must visit for all animal lovers!
