Museum Villa

Amsterdam’s newest contemporary art museum and artist collective, Museum Villa, is inspired by the first moments of wonder and feelings that draw you in.

The museum showcases playful art intended to hit home immediately. With fun and creativity at its core, Museum Villa aims to break through intimidating barriers to art – right here, right now, with no need to understand the art before you can appreciate it. 

Museum Villa’s artists co-design each room to give each piece of contemporary art a display space that feels cohesive.

Exhibits include Zoro Fiegl’s art installations that move, Thomas Trum’s abstract line and color work, Eniwaye Oluwaseyi's paintings that blend figuration and expression, and multidisciplinary artist Max Siedentopf’s satirical sculptures. 

With rotating temporary exhibits, there will always be something fresh to see at Museum Villa whenever you come back to Amsterdam. 

Museum Villa offers scavenger hunts for the youngest visitors and a free audio guide, which lets you hear the artists discuss their own work and inspirations. 

The museum is nestled in the greenery of Westerpark, a vibrant area perfect for a picnic and some quiet time to reflect on the art.
