Opened in 1992, the Reina Sofia Museum is named after Spain's former Queen.

Dedicated predominantly to Spanish art, the Reina Sofia focuses mainly on the three greatest masters of the twentieth century in Spain: Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí and Joan Miró. The most famous masterpiece in the museum is Picasso’s painting, 'El Guernica' which everybody comes to see. In fact, in 2019 the museum saw 4.48million visitors, making it among the world's most visited.

Along the tour, your expert guide will explain Spanish art, from abstractionism to cubism, surrealism and modernism, showing you the most important works from the main artists and some from international masters.

This museum is housed in an old building that used to be a hospital, and its grand hallways are the ideal place to discover the most avant-garde painters and sculptors from all over the world.

There are also temporary exhibitions from international artists, with an exciting and ever-changing roster of artworks.

Art history buffs should relish the opportunity to experience the Reina Sofia - one of the world's top museums - in this way!

Book your spot at least 24 hours in advance by following this link. Select your preferred language (English or Spanish), date and time and enter your pass number(s). You will need to enter your credit card details, however you’ll not be charged unless you fail to turn up without cancelling 24 hours before the tour departs.

It is important that you receive your cancellation confirmation via email before 24 hours of your tour/attraction visit. If you fail to cancel and do not show up for your booking slot, your pass will still be redeemed, and you will lose one of your pass choices.

Amazing Tour with JJ!

We had a fantastic art tour today with JJ through Amigo Tours as part of our Go City package. What really stood out was how he brought the art to life through storytelling. Rather than just explaining the paintings, he gave us the background, the history, and the human stories behind the artists, which made the whole experience much more engaging and memorable. JJ is a gifted storyteller and clearly passionate about art. His explanations were easy to follow for those with little art knowledge, but still interesting and detailed enough to keep those of us who knew a bit about the artists completely engaged. We learned a lot, had a great time, and left with a much deeper appreciation of the art than we expected. I would highly recommend JJ to anyone considering this tour. And a big compliment to Amigo Tours as well. Everything was excellent, from the booking process right through to the tour itself. Thanks for a wonderful experience, JJ and Amigo Tours!

Museo davvero bello! Merita sicuramente la visita! La guida era davvero molto preparata e competente. Purtroppo non posso dare il massimo delle stelle perché Amigo Tours non è affatto serio, ho avuto un sacco di problemi! Quindi, se volete prenotare le attrazioni tramite ago City in cui è coinvolto Amigo Tours: non fatelo!!! A me hanno annullato una visita ed applicato la penale anche se la cancellazione è dipesa da loro e non da me. Inoltre ho dovuto comprare i biglietti che invece avrei dovuto avere tramite Go City Pass già pagato!!!!
