The Sèvres Ceramics Museum was originally the Ceramics and Glassmaking Museum which was inaugurated in 1824. In 1876, it was relocated to its current location which was built in the of a manner palace you might find along the Seine River
More than a museum of decorative arts, you can also learn the science and technology behind these amazing creations. The collection comprises 50,000 works from across the globe and through the ages alongside contemporary pieces produced on-site at the Manufacture de Sèvres.
