The Viking Museum is a treat of illusion, fantasy, and exciting tales. Learn about the Viking legacy, see an interactive display of the everyday life of a Viking family, and come face-to-face with a Viking replicated with the help of DNA from archaeological discoveries.

Ragnfrid's Saga

Experience a Viking ride with Ragnfrid and her husband Harald. See plundering in the west and the slave trade in the east. This 11-minute journey uses sounds, light, and atmospheric environments to transport you back in time.

Show your pass at the admissions counter for entry.

The museum can be very popular during weekends and over the summer, so there may be longer queues at the ticket desk during this time.
The museum gets busy around lunch time and we recommend a visit before 12PM or after 3PM.
