Overview
Whimsically themed as a Southern California beach town from the 1950s, Knott's Soak City Water Park boasts 17 speed, tube, and body slides.
After experiencing the thrills and spills, relax on the Sunset River that stretches out for a third of a mile. It's the perfect way to cool down in the California heat.
Knott’s Soak City Water Park rides
Banzai Falls
Grab a mat and slide headfirst down this rolling six-lane water slide.
Sunset River
Grab an inner tube and relax as you drift along this lazy river’s 1,780 feet of windy waterways – it’s the world’s widest and one of the longest water park lazy rivers.
Gremmie Lagoon
If the thought of high-speed water rides gives you Knott’s in your stomach, Gremmie Lagoon is the perfect respite. It's geared towards the younger crowd and features interactive water games for little ones.
The Wedge
Zip down this open-air group raft ride and navigate your way down unexpected twists, turns, and drops as you meander the slide’s barriers. Seats up to six people.
Tidal Wave Bay
This 750,000-gallon Tidal Wave pool features some of the city’s best surf. Bask in the sun and relax when the waves are ‘off’ and then shoot the curl like a surfing pro when they start back up.
Shore Break
This seven-story tall tower features six different water slide thrill experiences, including four slides that begin in an Aqua-Launch chamber where the floor will drop out from beneath your feet. You can also race your friends on the dueling tube slides and see who reaches the pool first.
Old Man Falls
Climb to 63 feet above the ground and let gravity take you away on these top-speed-reaching waterslides.
Beach Houses
This three-story Beach House boasts 200 water guns, nozzles, sprayers, and other surprises.

Too Busy and Basic
Andy BWe visited Knott’s Soak City in the afternoon after spending the morning at Knott’s Berry Farm. Unfortunately, as it was a very hot day, the waterpark was extremely busy and the queues for the rides were very long. We also hadn’t brought pool shoes, which was a mistake on our part, but the concrete surfaces were extremely hot and uncomfortable to walk on in bare feet. As a result, we mainly stuck to the wave pool and lazy river rather than attempting the rides. The changing facilities were also very basic, to say the least. There are no family changing rooms or private changing cubicles, so the only real option for changing privately is to use an actual toilet. Overall, we found Soak City disappointing compared with Knott’s Berry Farm. Perhaps it would be a better experience on a quieter, cooler day, but our visit was 2/5.
Too crowded!
MehrnuschVery crowded, very long waiting times even for entrance but also for the slided. No free layers! Very complicatef to get a ticket with Go City Pass Plus!
Nice park!
Amy AWe enjoyed the lazy river and the wave pool. The rides lines were not long and the life guards are very attentive. You will need to go guest services next to the turnstile and they will need to give you a paper pass. Then proceed to the turnstile. Don't forget sunscreen, goggles and the water pouch for your phone.
Fun Times
SheilaMy children enjoyed themselves and was able to ride all the rides that they wanted because the wait times weren’t bad. I’d recommend this water park for safe family fun.. 🤩
