The Salem Witch Trials took place in 1692, and over 150 people were accused of witchcraft and 20 executed. You'll travel back in time to the 17th-century Salem Village and experience this dramatic period in history, which is brought to life through imaginative stage sets.
Explore 13 life-size sets, documenting the story of the witch trials, and the people who were accused and imprisoned for witchcraft. You'll learn all about this journey of mass hysteria which resulted in court trials. You'll also find out what happened in the aftermath and discover how the image of witchcraft has evolved over time. BessDon’t waste your time here. They make it seem like such a great and sought-after museum but it’s just figures on the wall with a narrator.
Iconic museum
ElenaIconic museum, but very outdated. They are very efficient at getting people in and out. We were there for an hour, including waiting in line to get in. DO NOT VISIT IN OCTOBER. Tickets can only be purchased starting 10pm the night before or else it sells out. You have to plan in order to visit this museum.

Underwhelming
AshleyThis museum fell short of expectations, despite the significant hype surrounding the exhibit and the aggressive marketing efforts to sell tickets. The first half of the museum is overcrowded, resulting in limited visibility of the presentation. The second half, a smaller space, is similarly packed, providing insufficient time for visitors to thoroughly examine the artifacts. The museum capitalized on the opportunity to generate revenue, but the management’s actions should be condemned.
