Step onboard this imposing tall ship and you will be transported back in time to get a sense of what their gruelling journey would have been like. Migrants endured overcrowding, seasickness, disease, filth, starvation and storms, along with incredibly cramped quarters; about 250 passengers spent most of their time below deck, only emerging for half an hour of fresh air each day. Learn how the famine forced millions to flee the country, experience what life was like onboard and uncover fascinating personal passenger stories. The tour takes approximately 50 minutes and is led by knowledgeable guides.
