What you'll do

Take the Boggy Creek Airboat Tour with Go City®

  • With us, there are no entry fees on the day – all you've got to do is show your pass.
  • A 30-minute boat tour of the Everglades.
  • The chance to see alligators, water birds, and turtles.

This 30-minute tour will take you through one of the most desolate regions in the country that, to this day, remains largely untouched by humans. Alligators reign supreme here and the waters are teeming with wildlife.

Airboat tours of the swamp leave every thirty minutes, but if seeing an alligator is top of your list, head out before 10AM for the best chance. The boats can reach up to 45mph so thrills aren’t just in the water – this experience will definitely get the adrenaline pumping.

It’s not just alligators that call this area home. Don’t forget your camera because you might also spot other wetland species like turtles and colorful water birds, along with the beautiful cypress trees that make the Everglades so recognizable. Once you’ve enjoyed your boat ride, head to the gift shop to pick up a little memento of your experience.

  • Alligators have been on the planet since around the time dinosaurs went extinct and have been described as living fossils.
  • There are two living types of alligators in the world – Chinese and American.
  • American alligators can reach a massive half a ton in weight.
  • Alligators can have up to 80 teeth at one time and new teeth are grown to replace worn ones.
  • Alligators and crocodiles are often mistaken for each other, but they do look different. Alligators have slimmer v-shaped snouts while crocodile's snouts are much broader.
