Lion Country Safari
This attraction is great for families and animal lovers – Lion Country Safari offers two parks in one, with plenty to explore.
What you'll do
You’ll enjoy a drive-through safari then get a little closer to nature in a walk-through adventure park.
The four-mile drive-through Florida safari gives you access to over 900 free-roaming animals. America’s first wildlife preserve opened in 1967 and is divided into seven specific areas. During your drive you’ll catch a glimpse of giraffe, zebra, rhinos, wildebeests, and of course, lions. Some animals will be within mere inches of your vehicle. Remember, animals have the right-of-way when you're on safari!
Then you’ll go on foot to Safari World Adventure Park for a more hands-on experience. There’s plenty to do here with animal encounters like giraffe feeding, bird feeding, and a petting zoo.
You can also jump on a range of Lion Country Safari rides including a kid’s train, carousel, water sprayground, water slides, and more.
