What you'll do

Climb aboard The Beast for a rip-roaring ride down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, reaching speeds of up to 45 miles per hour!

Ride The Beast down the Hudson with Go City®

  • With us, there are no additional fees on the day – all you've got to do is show your pass.
  • Zoom down the Hudson River on a thrill ride aboard The Beast.
  • You’ll twist and turn alongside the famous New York skyline and whiz past Ellis Island on your way to the Statue of Liberty.

Hold on to your hats! This high-energy boat ride is powered by twin jet engines, so expect twists, turns, thrills – and splashes – galore.

Do you feel the need… the need for speed? The Beast is a lean, mean, green machine with bite, and definitely not for the faint of heart. Board at Pier 83 and brace yourself for an exhilarating ride that you won’t forget in a hurry.

New York’s only jet-powered speedboat attraction will whiz you rapidly downriver, hitting speeds of up to 40 knots as you zoom past Rockefeller Park and The Battery, and giving you amazing (if slightly blurred) views of the famous Manhattan skyline from the water.

As you approach Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, there will be an opportunity for photos, as well as panoramic views of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, before the engines roar and you speed back across the water to Manhattan, and terra firma.
