How to get there

Train Icon

4, 5 or 6 trains to 86th Street. Walk west on 86th Street. Turn right at Fifth Avenue and proceed north to 88th Street.

Operating hours

Daily: 10:30AM - 5:30PM 

Last ticket is issued 30 minutes before closing.

'Pay What You Wish' hours are Monday and Saturday, 4PM  – 5:30PM. The museum gets very busy during these hours so plan accordingly. 

Closings & holidays

On the following dates the museum will be closed:

  • May 8, October 9 and December 25

On the following dates the museum will close early:

  • May 14 at 4:30PM
  • October 8 at 3PM
  • December 24 at 4PM
