You can book a two-hour slot at one of the library consoles to explore the archive of more than 150,000 TV shows, commercials and radio programs. See historic TV moments including The Beatles’ debut performance on US television and footage from the 1969 moonwalk. Or relive favorite moments from TV game shows like Wheel of Fortune, Hollywood Squares and The Money Maze, of which one 1975 episode in the archive was recorded on a home VCR by Andy Warhol.
On the ground floor, the Steven Spielberg Gallery plays host to a range of events and exhibitions throughout the year. Visiting exhibitions showcase and celebrate some of TV and radio’s greatest cultural milestones, and include exhibits such as photographs, original costumes and other memorabilia, plus screenings in the full-size basement theaters.
