Visit Vessel, the sculptural masterpiece in Midtown Manhattan!

Located in the vibrant Hudson Yards neighborhood, Vessel offers a unique art experience and incredible city views.

The building was designed by Thomas Heatherwick and manufactured in Italy before being shipped to New York. It reaches a height of 150 feet and is comprised of 16 floors, connected by intricately interwoven flights of stairs.

This honeycomb-like structure is truly a wonder inside and out – it’s no surprise that it’s one of New York City’s most photographed landmarks. Capture impressive selfies from different angles, with views that change throughout the day.

Getting in

Simply have your pass scanned by Experience Ambassadors at the entry area.

Admission ticket is valid for 1-time entry at the time chosen on that day.

Wheelchair accessibility

Vessel is primarily made up of stairs. Vessel offers an elevator for those who require it for their visit. Please notify Vessel Experience Ambassadors upon arrival or in advance.

Please note:

Bags and luggage larger than 9 x 14 x 22 inches are not permitted. For security purposes, Hudson Yards reserves the right to inspect any bags.
Bikes, scooters, or skateboards are not allowed in Vessel. There is a bike rack nearby on 30th and 10th Avenue.
Tripods and selfie sticks are not permitted.

Weather notice

Vessel is an outdoor activity and is open during all normal weather conditions, but Hudson Yards reserve the right to close Vessel during inclement or extreme weather, at their sole discretion. Unless they have determined to close Vessel, tickets will not be exchanged due to weather. If Vessel or a portion of Vessel closes due to severe weather conditions, Experience Ambassadors will be available to provide assistance and information.

Can I bring food and drinks inside the Vessel?

Clear, plastic water bottles are permitted in Vessel, however, no other food or drink is allowed. Glass bottles are strictly prohibited.
