On this 1.5-hour tour, you'll retrace the history of the Jewish people in the city of Rome, from ancient to modern times. Led by an expert guide, you'll discover fascinating stories and stunning monuments of Imperial Rome, such as the Theater of Marcellus or Portico of Octavia.
Along the way, you can learn all about the typical recipes of traditional Jewish-Roman cuisine, such as the delicious artichokes "alla giudia" or ricotta and sour cherry tart.
After admiring the 19th-century synagogue, you will end your visit with the sounds of the water of the renaissance turtle fountain in Piazza Mattei.

Teatro Marcello - an ancient open-air theater commissioned by Emperor Augustus.
Portico d'Ottavia - the center of the Roman Ghetto, this ancient structure has enclosed multiple buildings such as temples, libraries and even fish markets.
