If you're a fan of art and history, you'll definitely want to check out the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Rome. This place is like a treasure trove for all things related to the genius of Leonardo. You can even get hands-on with models of his inventions. It's one thing to see a drawing of a 15th-century helicopter, but it's a whole different experience to actually interact with a model of it.

The Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum takes things up a notch. Think of it as a "behind-the-scenes" look at the life and works of Leonardo da Vinci. There's a whole section dedicated to his famous paintings, but you’ll also get an inside peek into the techniques he used to create his masterpieces. There’s also an augmented reality experience to give you an immersive experience.

The Leonardo Da Vinci Experience houses over 50 recreations of his inventions, built inline with Da Vinci’s original designs. From bicycles to digging equipment, his creations were many and varied, plus visitors will have the opportunity to operate some of the machines on display.

The Experience also houses 20 certified reproductions of Da Vinci’s paintings, all of which were painted by certified Vatican Museum restoration artists.
