Overview
Explore the gorgeous scenery and wildlife of the Bayou Segnette on this exhilarating tour. You'll hop aboard a boat and set out into the thick of Louisiana’s wetlands on an intrepid adventure.

The term ‘bayou’ is native to Louisiana and stems from the Native American word 'bayuk' meaning 'small stream'.
The Cajuns of Louisiana were originally French-speaking settlers relocated from Nova Scotia.
Since the 1930s, the coast of Louisiana has lost over 1,900 square miles of marshes and coastal wetlands.
Just outside New Orleans is the historic fishing village of Westwego, home to this natural swamp, which winds all the way down into the Gulf of Mexico.

Best Tour Ever
This is the best tour ever! Very informative guide. Tons of opportunities to see gators and take pictures. Had plenty of food on the boat to attract the animals to the boat. I have never seen such interaction. Lots of blue herons and plants to see. What a great way to spend the afternoon.
