Incredible
ShaniahGary has clear details of each artifact and it had so many different meanings. It took me an hour there and I will go back in the future
Just go
Jo-AnnThe museum was truly impressive, and I was helped by the friendliest man ever! It was wonderful to see how he kept sharing stories and how genuinely engaged he was. I would seriously recommend visiting!
Excellent time had here
This exhibit was great. I'm glad we stumbled upon it and was able to attend. It was a little difficult making and confirming a booking but well worth it. Getting the opportunity to meet and talk with Gary was also a real treat. I highly recommend make the effort to stop by and listen to the history of all the pictures and artifacts from 9/11.
9/11 museum workshop
Matthew RheesThis was one of the coolest and special experiences we visited during our trip to NYC. The stories, photos and artifacts that this museum holds are unique. It is a small place with many unique artifacts. This is a must see museum, right up there with the memorial! In many ways we liked this place better. I actually learned more about ground zero here than at the memorial.
The intimate, personal and unique story of 9/11
Sooz and Ali McCraeIf you're looking to learn about 9/11 in a personal, intimate, close and calm way - this is the way to do it. Gary has created a museum workshop that tells so many stories through artifacts and photographs. These are photographs like no other - these photographs display tragedy, hope, heartbreak and some a truly spine chilling. Gary was there and he wants to intimately tell you these stories. You can walk around calmly and listen on your headset to each and every one. There are extremely rare pieces and some you have the option to hold and become part of it in that moment. His museum is cosy and you feel welcomed and not rushed. I cannot recommend this more. I learnt more from Garys museum than from the main museum. I felt comfortable asking questions and i didn't feel awkward asking some "tough" questions. Thank you for sharing such a personal collection, Gary. You will go on to teach so many.
