What you'll do

Explore the old moat to the Göta River by Paddan, and spot the amazing wildlife, plant life, birdlife, and greenery that thrives in this unique environment. This scenic boat trip will introduce you to Sweden’s natural beauty and diverse animal life.

This incredible landscape and habitat is completely natural and worth exploring to discover the incredible wildlife that calls this place home. From down the old moat through the Great Harbour and into the Göta River, this tour will take you through Lilla Bommen and into the 100km of wild Säveån.

Soak up the atmosphere of old wooden boats lining
the edges of the river and calming flora and fauna unique to the area. You might even spot a beaver amongst the willow trees reaching down to the water.

Live guided tour

Available in
Swedish and English, your tour guide will talk you through the lush sights along the way. Your tour passes many historically significant places such as quays, shipyards and charming spots like the boat club
Estoniavarvet, with old wooden jetties
and flourishing allotments along the water. On the way back the guide will be available to answer any questions you may have.

You cannot pre-book this tour and tickets are subject to availability on the day.
Collect your ticket from Stromma's Paddan ticket kiosk on the departure quay. If the kiosk is closed, go directly to the boat approx. 20 minutes before departure and show your pass to the staff onboard.
During high season (July-August) it is a good idea to collect your sightseeing tour ticket early on the same day at the Paddan Kiosk or from the outdoor sales staff. Sometimes there are a lot of visitors, and some tours may be full during the high season.
