What you'll do

Hop onboard Ngong Ping 360 and experience stunning views of Lantau Island, including the airport, HK-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Tian Tan Buddha. Once you arrive at the village, you have access to a Motion 360 show, a 5D simulation experience, and the Cable Car Discovery Center. Ngong Ping Village provides easy access to the Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery and the Wisdom Path, so be sure to save some time to explore these wonderful sites!

Cable Car

Enjoy panoramic views of Hong Kong's land, sea and skies as you take a peaceful 25-minute journey to Ngong Ping Village.

Motion 360

Discover the beautiful island of Lantau during a mesmerizing 5D simulation experience. Fly over the iconic Big Buddha feeling the wind through your hair and be prepared to get wet and wild as you swim with dolphins.

Cable Car Discovery Center

Take an educational tour through the Ngong Ping cable car experience. Explore the galleries and experience zones to learn everything from the history of cable cars to the hard work of the unsung engineering heroes on this project. Use VR to explore the restricted engineering zone, learn how to drive a cable car and dive into the structures and operations of the cable car through interactive exhibits and high-tech holograms.

Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery

The second-largest seated Buddha in the world can be found in the hills of Ngong Ping, 260 steps up from Ngong Ping Village. On a clear day, you can see the giant landmark for miles! Whilst you're here, discover Po Lin Monastery, a colorful Buddhist monastery founded by three monks in 1906.
