On the way up, you’ll be regaled with interesting O2 facts, including tidbits about its most famous visitors and its striking architecture.
As the ground drops away and you ascend to 52 meters, you’ll enjoy fantastic views of Canary Wharf and see boats bobbing along the Thames far below. There will be time to pause for a selfie – and to get your breath back – before heading back down to terra firma.

Know before you go
Getting in: show your pass at the box office window to receive your ticket, then head to Base Camp reception at your allotted time slot. Your pass is valid from Monday to Friday only for daytime, sunset and twilight climbs. Tickets are subject to availability and cannot be booked in advance so we recommend checking the website for availability before arriving.

Q. What should I wear for Up at The O2?
A. Comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear are recommended, and complimentary climb suits will be provided.
Q. How long does Up at The O2 take?
A. The entire experience, including a safety briefing, climb, and descent, typically takes around 90 minutes.
Q. Can I take my own camera or phone up The O2?
A. Yes, you can take your own camera or phone with you, but it must be securely attached to you at all times during the climb.
Q. Is there an age or height limit for Up at The O2?
A. Climbers must be at least 8 years old and at least 1.2 meters tall to participate, and all climbers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Q. What happens if it rains during my Up at The O2 climb?
A. Climbs take place in most weather conditions, and complimentary rain ponchos will be provided if necessary.
Q. Can I bring food or drinks with me on the climb?
A. No, food and drinks are not allowed on the climb, but there are cafes and restaurants located at the base of The O2.
