About this experience
Unquestionably one of the finest museum complexes in the world, the Louvre Museum holds a staggering 380,000 objects and 35,000 magnificent works of art from across the globe. Some of the most famous priceless objects call the Louvre home, such as the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and Liberty Leading the People.
Set in the very heart of Paris, on the banks of the Seine and with the gorgeous Jardins des Tuileries that lead to its striking forecourt, the former royal palace that houses the museum is truly an icon of French culture.
The Louvre lays claim to a whole host of accolades, including the world's largest museum at over 60,000 sq. m. and most visited with over 10 million a year. A trip to the French capital without stopping by the Louvre would be a trip wasted!
