Just show your pass when boarding or to a staff member at a Big Bus stop, and they'll scan your pass and give you a paper ticket to use each time you hop on and off.
You'll need to hang on to your paper ticket for the next day too.

Your Hop-On Hop-Off Bus tour ticket is valid for two consecutive calendar days. So, if your pass is scanned on a Monday, you can use your Hop-On Hop-Off ticket until the last tour on the Tuesday. It is not a 48-hour ticket.

Der Einstieg mit dem London Pass war unkompliziert: Der Pass wurde direkt gescannt, und wir erhielten ohne Wartezeit unser 48‑Stunden‑Ticket. Sowohl die Ticketverkäufer als auch Fahrerinnen und Fahrer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, was den Start sehr angenehm machte. Die Fahrt selbst war ruhig und komfortabel, ideal für Besucher, die entspannt viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sehen möchten. Die Kommentare kamen vom Band. Dafür gab es viele Sprachen zur Auswahl, und die Informationen waren klar, verständlich und teilweise humorvoll – gut geeignet für alle, die eine flexible, unkomplizierte Tour bevorzugen. Man kann jederzeit aus‑ und wieder einsteigen, um einzelne Orte genauer zu erkunden. Für einen ersten Eindruck von der Stadt ist die Tour daher sehr praktisch. Fazit: Eine bequeme und gut organisierte Möglichkeit, London kennenzulernen. Ideal für Reisende, die Wert auf einfache Abläufe und mehrsprachige Audio‑Infos legen.
