The Butterfly House Haga Ocean has a lot of exciting sights to offer. See hundreds of free-flying exotic butterflies in our magical rainforest. It is always warm and humid, over 25 degrees, with beautiful plants such as banana plants and hibiscus. You can see turtles, quails (small birds), fish and stingrays. We also have a designated spot for all our butterfly pupae. If you are lucky you might see a butterfly hatch and leave its pupae for the first time.
Inside Haga Ocean you get to experience life under the surface. Gaze into one of Scandinavia’s largest shark aquariums. Here you can see blacktip reef sharks, sandbar sharks, colorful fish and shark rays. There are several smaller salt water aquariums with clownfish, tangs, sea stars and much more. Learn about the mythical Great White shark in our exhibition “The Great White”. There is also a small movie theatre and casts of “ the giants of the sea”.
In the two other parts of the exhibition you can see animals such as poison dart frogs, lizards, koi-carps, giant snails and various types of tortoises.

Take bus 515 from Odenplan to Haga Norra. Follow the signs to Fjärilshuset.
Take the subway to Solna Centrum and then bus 177 to Kolonnvägen or bus 513 to Andersvägen. Take the commuter train to Solna Station and then bus 515 to Haga Norra.

NicolaVegetazione florida, animali stupendi e lasciati liberi, posto curato e pulito. Esperienza non tipicamente svedese ma assolutamente da fare. Collegato perfettamente con l’autobus a soli 20 minuti da Hotel Hellsten. Luogo situato all’interno di un parco enorme e stupendo.

Haga ocean et la maison des papillons est un endroit très agréable, les espèces observées étaient variées et parfois très rares.
Nice relaxing kid attraction
barbaraThis is a very kid friendly attraction in the middle of a lovely park that is easily accessible by subway and bus. The display of the butterflies in all stages of metamorphosis was very interesting. The butterflies seem to be almost tame and will land on you. There are not many live sea creatures in the aquarium, but they have educational displays.

You feel like your in a rain forest and the ocean. What a magical experience for both children and adults. Also a beautiful park for a relaxing walk, before or after the visit.
