During the years the Old US Mint was in operation, it produced over 427 million gold and silver coins of nearly every American denomination.
The Old US Mint produced over $307 million in gold and silver.
The production of silver coins was suspended in 1804, as they were being exchanged for underweight Spanish coins in the West Indies.
