Overview
You can't visit Oahu without immersing yourself in the island's rich traditions!
Join a traditional hula lesson and learn three essential steps: hela, kao and kaholo. You'll also get to try authentic Hawaiian musical instruments, including the ipu, pūʻili and ʻuliʻuli.
To make the experience even more special, you can wear a traditional pāʻū, the skirt worn by women during practice, or a malo, the traditional loincloth worn by men. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, you'll discover the spirit of aloha as you learn the art of hula.
After the lesson, take some time to explore the nearby ancient freshwater spring or unwind beneath the sweeping branches of a magnificent banyan tree. It's a wonderful way to connect with Hawaiian culture and enjoy the natural beauty of the island.
