Your fun self-drive car is fitted with the latest GPS guided tour technology, providing directions and attraction information along the way and even cracking the occasional joke or two!

This evening itinerary kicks off with a whiz along the trendy Embarcadero waterfront and through pretty Seaport Village. From the comfort of your little yellow buggy you’ll take in sweeping sunset views across the bay to the cute island resort of Coronado and cruise past the Maritime Museum’s merchant ships and the hulking hull of the USS Midway aircraft carrier.

Another highlight of the route is Horton Plaza, with its ornate fountain, amphitheater steps and manicured lawns, from where locals watch the world go by over coffee and ice creams.

Loop around the Petco Park stadium, home of local heroes the San Diego Padres, before arriving in the historic Gaslamp Quarter with its Insta-ready Victorian and Art Deco architecture, hip dive bars and buzzing nightlife.
