    Did you know

    • Djurgården Canal has been royal land since the 15th Century.
    • Prince Eugen's Waldemarsudde is one of Sweden’s most popular art museums featuring a stunning collection of early 20th-century Nordic Art.
    • Stockholm’s Old Town is the original city center and dates back to the 13th Century.

    Things to see

    Fjäderholmarna
Stockholm’s Fjäderholmarna Archipelago is one of the most picturesque places in the city and just a short way out of the centre. See the rocky cliffs and green verdant shores on the Royal Canal Boat Tour. If you want a day trip there, you can visit the museum and brewery to try Swedish whisky or beer. During the summer it hosts numerous concerts and events throughout the warmer months.

    Prince Eugen's Waldemarsudde
Originally the home of Prince Eugen until his death in 1947, it’s now one of the most popular art museums in Stockholm, showcasing stunning masterpieces from the Prince's personal art collection. Also visit the gardens, complete with French and Swedish sculptures from artists like Rodin, Bourdelle and Milles.

    Old Town
Gamla Stan (old town) is one of the most picturesque areas in Stockholm, complete with medieval mustard coloured buildings, cobbled streets and squares. Here you’ll also find the Royal Palace and the impressive Stockholm Cathedral, dating back to the 13th Century.
