Visit the Vasa Museum and experience one of the biggest cultural attractions in Stockholm, Sweden - the warship Vasa - which sank in 1628 on its maiden voyage from Stockholm. Learn about the history of the ship through fascinating exhibitions and see the restored wreck that was salvaged from beneath the water.Along with incredibly detailed exhibitions, you can join a guided tour and learn about the sinking of this magnificent ship, the years it took to salvage it, and then the long restoration process to turn Vasa into what we see today.While you're here, stop off at the museum's cool café and enjoy Fika (the Swedish concept of unwinding with a coffee and cake) afterwards.

The Butterfly House Haga Ocean has a lot of exciting sights to offer. See hundreds of free-flying exotic butterflies in our magical rainforest. It is always warm and humid, over 25 degrees, with beautiful plants such as banana plants and hibiscus. You can see turtles, quails (small birds), fish and stingrays. We also have a designated spot for all our butterfly pupae. If you are lucky you might see a butterfly hatch and leave its pupae for the first time.Inside Haga Ocean you get to experience life under the surface. Gaze into one of Scandinavia’s largest shark aquariums. Here you can see blacktip reef sharks, sandbar sharks, colorful fish and shark rays. There are several smaller salt water aquariums with clownfish, tangs, sea stars and much more. Learn about the mythical Great White shark in our exhibition “The Great White”. There is also a small movie theatre and casts of “ the giants of the sea”.In the two other parts of the exhibition you can see animals such as poison dart frogs, lizards, koi-carps, giant snails and various types of tortoises.

If you love art – particularly European art – you’re in for an absolute treat at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, where masterpieces spanning six centuries are displayed in roughly chronological order through a series of suitably grand rooms, halls and corridors.Stars of the show in the Nationalmuseum are fine French Impressionist and Dutch Golden Age pieces by the likes of Rembrandt, Renoir, Rubens, Cézanne and Degas. There’s also a quite marvelous collection of around half a million prints and drawings that date from the Middle Ages to the early 20th Century.
