What you'll do
You can't visit Paris without experiencing the Louvre – one of the most celebrated museums in the world and ultimate Parisian icon.
Explore 380,000 objects and 35,000 magnificent works of art from across the globe and admire some of the most priceless and famous masterpieces that permanently reside at the Louvre. Come face-to-face with Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, wonder at the craftsmanship of the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and feel the drama of Delacroix’s Liberty Leading the People, plus loads more to whet your cultural appetite.
As the largest traditional art museum in the world (with its exhibition space covering over 70,000 square meters!), there's endless amounts of history to be discovered through its collections of paintings, sculptures, architecture, furniture, and more.
Plus, a visit to the Louvre lands you in the very heart of Paris on the banks of the Seine. You'll be surrounded by landmarks, lush gardens, and patisseries – more than enough to fill up a day of sightseeing in the French capital. Bon voyage!
