The Opéra National de Paris, also known as the Palais Garnier, is an iconic opera house located in the heart of Paris. You’ll get the chance to take a self-guided tour around the opulent building and enjoy its plush interiors at your own pace. Wander around the sumptuous Grand Foyer, adorned with dazzling chandeliers and intricate frescoes, and take a peek at the grand staircase with its ornate balustrades.

: Getting in
Head to the corner of rue Scribe and rue Auber and use the main entrance located at the side of the Opéra where you'll find the general admission line (without ticket). Then, show your pass at access control to enter.
For reasons related to theater activity, the auditorium is regularly inaccessible to visitors and some areas may be closed. Backstage areas are also not included.
