Bringing the Vikings to life through interactive exhibitions and a Viking ride, the Viking Museum is a must-visit for history buffs. The Viking Museum is a treat of illusion, fantasy, and exciting tales. Learn about the Viking legacy, see an interactive display of the everyday life of a Viking family, and come face-to-face with a Viking replicated with the help of DNA from archaeological discoveries.

Viking Museum highlights

Ragnfrid's Saga: experience a Viking ride with Ragnfrid and her husband Harald. See plundering in the west and the slave trade in the east. This 11-minute journey uses sounds, light, and atmospheric environments to transport you back in time. 

Vikings: The True Story: this exclusive guided tour and mini-exhibit covers the truth behind some of the characters of HBO Nordic’s popular show Vikings.
