Drottningholm Court Theatre was built in 1766 for Queen Lovisa Ulrika and is one of the best-preserved theatres from this time period in the world.
So, what makes it so special? Well, it's the only working 18th-century theatre in the world. What's more, it still uses its original wooden stage machinery, which has to be operated by hand. Wowing audiences with 17th and 18th-century opera performances, this truly is a must-see for theatre and classical music-lovers alike.
