Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND Florida Resort

While LEGOs are undeniably awesome year ‘round, it’s much better to enjoy the iconic LEGOLAND theme park without the sweltering heat of summer. Take the kids and enjoy their special seasonal programming, like Halloween’s Brick or Treat. Some of the featured content at Brick or Treat includes:

  • The chance to embark on a “spooky” scavenger hunt that spans all of Miniland USA.
  • Daily costume contests with valuable LEGO prize packs.
  • Inventive seasonal building activities.

Each Brick or Treat date will conclude with a creepy-crawly, spider-themed fireworks show at 8 p.m. in the skies above Lake Eloise. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular

Their Bayside Stadium comes to life with colorful creatures and festive activities that celebrate this kid-favorite holiday. Immerse yourself in "an ocean of Halloween fun," including "fantasea" sea creatures, trick or treating in costume, and much more. Don’t miss your chance to meet some pumpkin fish! Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa

For those really big Halloween fans out there, this is the event for you. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens in Tampa offers a series of truly terrifying experiences and events for adults to enjoy. Roam the creepiest haunted houses you'll ever see. Get stalked by hordes of roaming monsters as you wander through scare zones. Be endlessly entertained by the dancing Fiends. Enjoy the extra level of thrill that comes with riding the coasters after dark. Don't forget to sample their signature cocktails! This is for those who love nothing more than a good scare! Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour

And now for something completely different! Head to Winter Park, a wonderful artsy suburb of Orlando, for some quality shopping and dining. You'll find little boutiques, art galleries, cozy little wine bars and pubs, and much more. It's also just a really beautiful city in its own right: they’ve got charming waterways, beautiful gardens, and inventive architecture. A boat tour is a great way to see it all without the effort of driving yourself around. Don't forget - this time of year you may experience a slight breeze on the water. Remember a light sweater! WonderWorks Orlando

Orlando’s Magical Dining Month

If you’re a foodie, you’re in luck this September. All month is Magical Dining Month in Orlando, which means delicious food at delectable prices. Enjoy affordable prix fixe menus at fine dining locales, special deals at local favorites, and even unique menus designed just for the event. Come hungry! Global Peace Film Festival

September 16 – 23, 2019 Winter Park & Downtown Orlando

This feel-good festival uses the medium of film to promote positive change and peaceful action. It’s run by a great non-profit, so you know the minimal ticket fees are going to a good cause. There are even some free screenings if you’re looking for a budget-saving attraction. Getting In: Admission to the Global Peace Film Festival is separately ticketed and is not included with the Go Orlando® pass. Winter Park Autumn Art Festival

October 12-13, 2019 Central Park in Winter Park

Now in its 45th year, the annual Winter Park Autumn Art Festival is a wonderful creative opportunity for the whole family to explore the local arts scene. Exclusively showcasing Florida artists, this community event features visual art in addition to live entertainment, kids’ activities, and crafts, and much more. It's also held in a historic district, so a visit here will give you the chance to see more of Florida's heritage. Getting In: Admission to the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival is free.

Movie Nights at Leu Gardens

The Friday of the Month, October - December 2019 Harry P. Leu Gardens

For families looking for a great evening out that doesn't involve a theme park, movie nights at the lovely Leu Gardens are a safe bet. Come here to enjoy family-friendly films for a very low price, with food and beverages available for purchase. Bring a blanket, some chairs, and a picnic, and you're all set. Getting In: Admission to Movie Night at Leu Gardens is not included with the Go Orlando pass. You may purchase tickets at the door.

A Few Other Activities for Fall Fun

  • Check out fall special exhibits at places like the Kennedy Space Center (general admission is included with the Go Orlando® pass!)
  • Visit the Petrified Forest in Altamonte Springs for some spooky fun.
  • Cheer for the Orlando City Soccer Club.
  • The NBA’s Orlando Magic is just beginning their season, too, so why not head to a game?
  • Visit Black Hammock Adventures on Lake Jessup for free nature and animal exhibits, and to get a taste of what Orlando vegetation looks like in the fall.
  • Stock up on seasonal veggies at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market (held on Saturdays).
  • Take a free weekend brewery tour at the Orlando Brewing Company.
