Know before you go

Getting In: Head downstairs and through security, then bypass the Box Office and present your pass to the ticket taker.

Please Note: All Skydeck Chicago visitors must go through a security check in order to be admitted to the Observatory. During peak hours, the security line can be lengthy, but it moves quickly. Occasionally, the 99th floor is used for observation instead of the 103 Skydeck Chicago when maintenance is required.

Insider Tip: You will be able to skip the ticketing line but will experience a line for the elevator. To avoid crowds or elevator lines, visit SkyDeck Chicago early in the day.
