What you'll do
At the Royal Armoury, you’ll get to see a wide variety of items from the Royal Wardrobe, the Royal Arsenal and the private collections of a selection of monarchs. Discover artifacts, costumes, parade armour and weapons as well as the carriages and coaches recognisable from historical royal ceremonies.

Notable artifacts
See items preserved for their importance to significant moments from history, like Gustav II Adolf’s stuffed horse Streiff from the Battle of Lützen in 1632 and Gustav III’s masquerade costume from the attack of 1792.
Unique collections
Marvel at magnificent men’s costumes, saddles and saddle cloths, items the like of which you won’t find anywhere else in the world. The collections also include extensive documentation, like inventories, receipts and accounts allowing you to get a deeper understanding of the history of an object. Uncover who owned them, who made them and what occasion they were commissioned for.
