Set within the grounds of the Royal Palace in the Old Town, Riddarholmen Church is famously the necropolis where many Swedish kings and queens are buried. You can enjoy a guided tour of this historic church and learn all about the rich past of the famous royals buried in the grounds.
Built in the 13th Century, this is the only monastery from the middle ages to have survived in Stockholm and discover the picturesque Bernadotte Chapel.

All succeding rulers of Sweden from 1632 - 1950 (except Queen Christina) are buried in the Riddarholmen church, including Gustav II Adolf and Gustav V as well as those from the middle ages like Magnus Ladulås and Karl Knutson Bonde
