The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s extensive collection of contemporary and modern art has expanded to a new home – a stunning building designed by renowned modernist architect Marcel Breuer. Thanks to this expansion, you'll get to see and experience the Met's take on modern-day art of all mediums.

Friday and Saturday: 10AM – 9PM

Know before you go

Getting In: Present your pass at any of the desks located in the Great Hall.

Please Note: Admission to the museum grants you complimentary same-day admission to The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Met Cloisters. Therefore, your pass will not need to be scanned at these museums if you visit them on the same day as your visit to The Met Breuer. You will need to show your museum ticket at entry.

    Closest Subway Stop

    Take the 6 train to 77th Street and walk two blocks west to Madison Avenue. Walk south two blocks to 75th Street. This walk is about a third of a mile and takes approximately eight minutes. Bus: Take the M1, M2, M3, or M4 bus along Madison Avenue (from downtown locations) to 75th Street or along Fifth Avenue (from uptown locations) to 75th Street.
