Begin your tour of the House of Auguste Rodin at Meudon at the Villa Brilliants where Rodin lived for the last 20 years of his life. Make sure to check out the Plaster Gallery and explore Rodin’s artistic process. You can see his collection of antiquities housed in the master’s workshop. Visit his famous “The Thinker” at the tomb of Rodin and his wife Rose.

Highlights

The Plaster Gallery invites you into Rodin’s process of creation. The works displayed here give you an evolutionary look into how he modified, transformed or reassembled his creations. Discover how the master invented his unique language.

Villa of the Brilliants is a neo-Louis XIII style house renovated in 1997 from photographs of the era giving you a glimpse into how Rodin lived.

The Antique Workshop was built in 1900 to house Rodin’s personal collection of Greco-Roman marbles, Egyptian and medieval sculptures. The workshop was created to protect the art from decay, provide study for inspiration and to display the art for the master’s guests

Stroll the park adorned in original monumental bronzes.
