Established in 1843, the Musée National du Moyen Age (as it is known in French) offers a window into the French Middle Ages, presenting a unique perspective on the art and history of the era.
This historic museum houses extraordinary collections, including some of the finest medieval goldsmithing and enameling, featuring treasures from Europe’s greatest kings.
The Musée National du Moyen Age also boasts France’s largest collection of stained glass, with 230 panels and fragments dating from the 12th to the 16th century.
