What you'll do
Discover the incredibly diverse collections of Renaissance art, objects and furniture at the National Museum of the Renaissance.
The museum is housed in the Château d’Écouen built in 1555. Although later additions were added to the original castle, it remains a fine example of Renaissance architecture.
The collection is among the most esteemed of the period. It includes paintings, tapestries, silversmith/goldsmith art, stained glass, ceramics, enamel plaques, furniture, wood carvings, arms and armor.
