Skokloster Castle & Lake Mälaren Cruise to Skokloster (full day trip)
Visit this imposing historic monument from the baroque era.
What you'll do
This impressive structure was built on the shores of Lake Mälaren in the middle of the 17th Century. It used to be the largest private mansion in Sweden, owned by Count Carl Gustav Wrangel. The Count collected art, antiquities and nature specimens, many of which can still be seen on show today.
Skokloster Castle has been preserved and restored and remains the same as it did in its heydays of the 17th - 19th Century, with exquisite examples of period architecture, collections, décor, furniture and textiles from centuries ago.
